My name is Kelly and I’m excited to be here to share my experience with you.  I have been attracted to business since I was in high school. I took all of the classes and enjoyed every minute of it. I went on to major in business in college as well.  I spent almost 20 years at a metals distribution company wearing all of the hats.  I handled their A/P, receiving, ISO auditing, scheduling, training and office management.  Although all of those tasks I loved, what I missed is true joy every day.  So, I started my own pet sitting business in 2012 and never looked back. I quit my job 2 years in and have enjoyed spending my days with pets and handling all of the things that go along with having a pet sitting business.  

From scheduling in Time to Pet, hiring sitters and meet & greets with new clients, I have done it all.  My business is past the honeymoon stage now and I’m here to help you with your daily tasks that might bog you down.  I have been there, done that and now I’m ready to share my knowledge.  I believe in being pawsitive and kind in everything I do, the customer experience is number one.

I live in Kentucky just east of Louisville.  I am married and the mom of 3 grown children and grandma to 4.  I have a labradoodle named Blake, a cavapoo named Berta and a kitty named Bernard that I share my days with.  I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!

Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m the owner of Kittytropolis Cat Sitting Specialists, a cats-only in-home pet sitting company based in Mandeville, Louisiana, serving the Northshore area. I launched Kittytropolis in 2022 as a cats-only rebrand of the pet care business I originally founded in 2014. As both a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) and Fear Free Certified Professional, I’m passionate about providing stress-free, compassionate care for cats, and my team is trained in Fear Free techniques as well.

My journey into the pet care industry started unexpectedly when the restaurant I was working at temporarily closed, and I needed a way to earn extra income. After volunteering with a local rescue walking dogs, I posted an ad for pet sitting services and quickly realized I had found something I truly loved. What started as a side job grew into a full-time career, allowing me to leave the restaurant industry behind. Over the years, I discovered my passion for feline care and decided to specialize exclusively in cats, combining my love for them with my passion for helping pet parents feel confident while they’re away.

At BBVA, I specialize in Time To Pet management, scheduling, hiring and onboarding, and operations support. Running my own successful pet care business has given me hands-on experience with the day-to-day challenges of owning and growing a company, and I enjoy helping fellow pet care business owners streamline their operations so they can focus on what they do best.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, Jack, and our three pets—Yoshi, a Siamese cat, Mishu, a domestic shorthair, and Wolfie, our senior Corgi/Border Collie mix. I also love baking homemade sourdough bread, painting, and enjoying a great cup of coffee. I may be a little quiet when we first meet, but I warm up quickly and love connecting with other pet professionals!

Hi, I’m Ashley a Virtual Assistant at BBVA specializing in marketing and social media support for pet sitting businesses. I help clients grow their visibility, strengthen their brand presence, and build meaningful partnerships that drive real results.

Before stepping into the VA world, I built my career in healthcare, where I developed a strong track record in increasing brand awareness, creating strategic partnerships, and connecting services with the communities that need them most. That experience now fuels my marketing approach: relationship-driven, results-focused, and rooted in trust.

I worked as a pet sitter in college and recently returned to the field because of my genuine love for animals. I believe more pet families deserve access to trusted, compassionate pet care providers. As a proud puppy mom myself (and a full-time spoiler), I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone who treats your pet like their own.

My goal is simple: help pet sitting companies grow while making sure more pet families are connected to reliable, caring sitters. When our clients succeed, their communities – and their furry friends – thrive.
